PHARMACIES OF SHRI MAHANT INDIRESH HOSPITAL ACHIEVE RECOGNITION BY P.C.I.

 - 960 STUDENTS OF D.PHARMA COURSE WILL BE ABLE TO GET TRAINED EVERY YEAR

- SHRI MAHANT INDIRESH HOSPITAL EMERGES AS THE FIRST TRAINING CENTRE OF UTTARAKHAND

Dehradun. The Pharmacies being run at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital have achieved the recognition of Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.) to impart training. The students of D. Pharma Course of Uttarakhand will be able to get training at the pharmacies of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. It’s significant to mention that Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital is the only hospital of Uttarakhand state under which Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.) has given recognition to impart training. Chairman of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has congratulated and showered his divine blessings over the whole team of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Shri Guru Ram Rai University.

It’s worth mentioning that in order to complete D. Pharma course of Pharmaceutics discipline, training of 500 hours (3 hours) is mandatory. Only in a centre recognized by P.C.I., the students of D. Pharma can be trained. Till now only dispensaries of govt. hospitals including Govt. Doon Hospital, Coronation Hospital have the facility of training.

Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital is the very first private hospital in Uttarakhand state in whose dispensaries D. Pharma students can complete training. In order to complete D. Pharma course, its mandatory for the candidates to pass the examination as well as get trained from a P.C.I. recognized training centre. Only after this, the candidate gets registration from State Pharmacy Council. Pharmacy Council of India has issued permission to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital for 240 seats for every three months. In this way, 960 students of D.Pharma course will be able to get trained at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.

Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Divya Juyal informed that any centre, which proves itself up to the mark in all the parameters as per P.C.I.’s evaluation and investigation, is given approval as a training centre. P.C.I. strictly evaluated and investigated Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s completing guidelines of State and Central Govts. as well as its NABL & NABH Accreditations. After the dispensaries of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital proving themselves up to the mark on all the parameters of P.C.I., they have been granted approval for providing training.
